Leslie’s Daily To-Do’s – Get Curious About Fire Prevention, Moldy Cheese and Grinders

To me, EVERY day is a reason to celebrate!!! Every morning on the show, I break the celebrating down for you by telling you 'Today is...' Here is how I plan on celebrating TODAY!!!

Today is......

Curious Events Day - My favorite 'Curious Events' are the ones that happen in life that seem to redirect our path. For example, meeting my husband.

When I moved to TN for a radio job, my friends convinced me to join match.com. They felt that a singles website would help me meet new people. And for the most part they were right. No love connection, but I met several men who remain friends of mine to this day. Now, the CURIOUS part is the way I met my husband Quenton on Match.

After having lived in TN for almost a year, Jon called and offered me a job back here in Evansville. So, I changed my profile on the site. Instead of wanting to meet someone within 100 miles of Jackson, TN, I wanted to meet someone within 100 miles of Eville. In addition, I changed my age requirement. I had previously put the age range of 40 - 55.  But after several dates, I realized that a man over 45 could NOT keep up with me. ;-) Now, with moving to a new city I decided to expand my age range. I changed it to 30 - 40. I was 42 at the time!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!! I know, Cougar, right! Whatever! lol

Well, the first profile to come up in my new search was QUENTON. And my life has NEVER been the same since.

All of the things that led to me reading his profile blow my mind! And it turns out, many 'Curious Events' led him to me too!

Curious, HUH???

National Moldy Cheese Day - Cleaning out my fridge too!!!! From the smell of it, I'm thinking moldy cheese is involved!! lol

Ok, let's wrap this up and bring it ALL together.....

I got rid of my moldy cheese (ex-husband), went to an internet grocery store (Match), started a fire inside my heart (read a profile), which led to grinding (Quenton) YESSSSS!!!!!! !

OH, I'm sorry, I mean grindER! ;-)
