Leslie’s Daily To-Do’s – Forgive, Laugh and Try Something New
To me, EVERY day is a reason to celebrate!!! Every morning on the show, I break the celebrating down for you by telling you ‘Today is…’ Here is how I plan on celebrating TODAY!!!
Today is……
• National Forgiveness Day, a celebration of unconditional love!!
Forgive huh???? Probably one of THE hardest things for me to do. If hurt, I tend to be UNABLE to forget the pain. It’s like I torture myself with the memories. Sometimes, I can’t control it. I WANT to forgive and forget, but I can’t seem to really ever forget.
Last week, I had to face a terrible demon from my past. I told myself that if saw her face, knew what she looked like, I would be able to move past the pain. When I saw her, I was both relieved that I could NOW put a face on a faceless ghost that haunted my relationship and sad that she was so pretty and seemingly awesome. I guess I wanted her to be an ugly, no personality hag. But, she was quite the contrary.
That made me feel bad that I had found out about her. If she was so great, he should have had the chance to get to know her. He deserves the best. Maybe if he would have been able to spend more time with her, he wouldn’t have chosen me….he would have married HER. I felt like I might have taken something away from him by stopping him from seeing her again.
I guess that’s true love. When you want the one you love to be happy, even if, it’s not with you. Or is it??? True love also involves unconditional love. That, no matter what they do, you still love them, you forgive them.
I THOUGHT I loved him unconditionally, but I never forgave him. It wasn’t HER face I needed to see, It was HIS face. I needed to truly see his loving face with that smile that HE chose to light up MY day with and ONLY me. He chose to give his love to ME and has continued to give it every minute of every day since we said, “I do.”
I love him SO much but had no idea the love I could feel once I chose to forgive him. THAT is TRUE love….the ability to REALLY forgive. And, I finally have.

Female Arm Wrestler Has a Scream That Will Scare the Pants Off of You
I am NOT athletic at all. So, my tactic to win or at least appear like some sort of competition to my opponent is to look the part or sound the part. This female arm wrestler must have taken a play right out of the Leslie Morgan play book. Rule number 1....make your bark SO big, they won't notice you have no bite!! ;-)
Her scream would scare even the biggest, toughest male arm wrestler!

‘Sad Cat Diary’ Offers Hilarious Insight Into the Mind of a Cat
As, you know, Jon refers to me as 'The Cat Lady' on the air. Just because I adopted my first cat a year ago and have since acquired 7 more, doesn't make me a cat lady. Or does it??? ;-) Ok, I know it would appear that I, if I'm not the cat lady NOW, I am well on my way. In the past year, I have become very in tune with cats and all of their personalities. Maybe that's why I love them so much and they, in turn, are drawn to me. lol
I found a video that gives a little insight to the mind of the sad cat (which is only ONE of their many personalities) Watch, learn and laugh!! It's seriously, hilarious!
