I don't think a day goes by that someone doesn't ask themself that very question. Some times being online can be overwhelming and sometimes just down right exasperating. I know I have said many times that if I could just disappear from the internet, I would. Turns out, you can, but it can be difficult. JustDelete.me is a website with just about every link imaginable that will give you step by step instructions on how to remove your account from a particular online service.

Each service or link is listed in alphabetical order and each button is color-coded depending on the difficulty of removing yourself from a particular service. A green button means it is pretty easy to delete your account, a yellow button means it starts getting a little more difficult, a red button means it is pretty hard and black means impossible because some sites will NEVER delete your info no matter what.

Some of the easy ones include AOL / Instant Messenger, Desktoppr, eBay and Flickr. Some of the impossible ones include Netflix, Pinterest, Starbucks, Wikipedia and YouTube.

Another thing JustDelete.me will do is call out those sites that refuse to delete your information....now THAT'S cool! I checked it out and it is pretty cool, but you have to wonder if it is really actually possible to erase your digital footprint. My instincts say it never goes away and someone could find you if they were really good. Check it out for yourself, JustDelete.me
