Husband Doesn't Like Her Smelly Scents

Ok. A friend of mine has asked me for some advice about trying to find just the right perfume that her husband will like on her. The perfume she normally wears, her husband doesn't like. So guess what she does?

She visits department stores and samples their perfume and then goes home and asks her husband if he likes the perfume that she's wearing. So far, he hasn't liked any of the perfumes that she's been sampling. She's even invited him to join her to pick out the perfume he would prefer on her! However, the one's he chooses for her, she doesn't like!

Should she: 1) Purchase a perfume that he likes even though she can't stand the smell

2) Purchase a perfume she likes on herself and forget about what he likes
