We're getting closer and closer to the grand opening of Holiday World and Splashin' Safari's 2024 season. That's when the park will unveil its first ever 'family' roller coaster called Good Gravy!

Here's a look at the fun, new attraction.

Now the park has taken the lid off some more 'good gravy.' Holiday World just announced that it's hosting an auction for the first public riders on the coaster. Those rides will take place on Friday, May 3rd- a week before the ride officially opens to the public.

The bidding for that auction is now open. There are ten coaches on the gravy boat-themed ride and, according to the official news release from the park, "auction winners will take home first-ride certificates and two tickets to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari for a future visit." Plus, their winning bids will ultimately help a local charity.

That charity is the North Spencer Community Action Center, which provides food, clothing, healthcare, utility assistance and educational programs to residents in Spencer County, Indiana- where Holiday World is located.

Bids for the Good Gravy! auction are open now and will run until Friday, April 19th at 12pm CDT.  If you'd like to learn more and place your bids on the first-ride opportunity, CLICK HERE!
