Gather all of your rowdy friends together because Bocpheus is coming to Evansville's Ford Center!

After over a year of hardly any concerts coming to town due to the pandemic, things are finally getting back to a sense of normalcy. We've been announcing several concerts making their way to the Evansville area over the past couple of weeks. It's such a refreshing thing to see. I feel like we took things like concerts for granted and didn't realize how much we need them until we didn't have any at all. Now that they are making a comeback, I know you're just as ready as I am to be in attendance at these shows and forget about everything other than having a good time.

The concert announcements continue today as we are super excited to announce that Country Music Hall of Famer and icon, Hank Williams Jr. will be coming to Evansville's Ford Center on August 20th!

You know ole' Hank is going to be bringing a party to Evasnville. We'll all be singing along with Bocephus to all of his hits including: "Family Tradition", "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight", "Born To Boogie", and "A Country Boy Can Survive". Just thinking about hearing those songs live in concert is getting me excited. This man is a living legend!

Hank will be bringing along with him Walker Montgomery. Walker, much like Hank is a second-generation country artist. His dad happens to be John Michael Montgomery, so I'd be willing to bet you might see him pay tribute to his dad in Evansville.

Tickets for Hank Jr.'s Evansville concert go on sale on June 11th at The Ford Center Box Office and Ticketmaster.com. 99.5 WKDQ is going to have your chance to win tickets before you can buy them weekday mornings June 7th through June 11th on the Q Crew Morning Show with Ryan and Leslie!
