Glen Campbell is currently making his way around the country to say farewell on 'The Goodbye Tour' which will stop in Evansville this Saturday night at 8pm at the Centre in Downtown Evansville. Tickets for this historic show are on sale now at the Centre box office, all ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.com. As a result of Cambell's Alzheimer's diagnosis, touring will no longer be possible and he wanted to take one last opportunity to say goodbye and thank his legion of loyal fans that have been with him since the beginning.

Glen Campbell is one of the great country artists of all time and one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived. Campbell hit his stride in the 1960's and 70's with a string of hit records and a very successful TV variety show, The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.

Campbell has released more than 70 albums in his 50 years in the music business. His incredible guitar work landed him stints with The Beach Boys and The Champs where Campbell was featured doing the lead guitar work on The Champs biggest hit, Tequila.

Campbell has won Grammy Awards in both country and pop categories and in 1968 was the CMA Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. His hits include Wichita Lineman, Gentle on My Mind, By the Time I Get to Phoenix, Galveston, Rhinestone Cowboy and Southern Nights. Just recently, Campbell received Grammy's Lifetime Achievement Award in a special cermony and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Don't miss this opportunity to see a true legend for the very last time this Saturday night. Tickets are $29, $39, $45 and $65. See a recent interview with Campbell and a live performance of one of his greatest songs.
