You might want to cover your outdoor plants tonight as the Tri-State is expected to get blasted by some arctic air tonight.

Job Bird with our media partner WEHT told us that most of the Tri-State will be under a Frost Advisory tonight from 11 PM until 9 AM tomorrow morning.

National Weather Service, a Frost Advisory means,

"A Frost Advisory is issued when the minimum temperature is forecast to be 33 to 36 degrees on clear and calm nights during the growing season.

A Frost Advisory is issued in the spring at the start of the growing season (when it is late enough to cause damage to new plants and crops)"

If you have any outdoor plants or crops you might want to prepare to cover them tonight!
