Working in radio, occasionally you'll come across a hidden gem that someone was smart enough to keep.  In this case, not only was an employee of my former radio station smart enough to keep it, but I was smart enough to keep the copy they gave me.  It's a broadcast of 'Live At Libby's' from 1989 where a young Garth Brooks performed live.

Libby's was a steakhouse near Bowling Green and Russellville, KY that started hosting live music and live radio broadcasts from WBVR, The Beaver, and it ended up being a starting point for some big country artists including Tracy Lawrence, Trisha Yearwood, Jo Dee Messina, and of course Garth Brooks.  In the following clip, hear some performances from Garth, who was just celebrating his first top 10 hit.  You'll also hear the voice of Scooter Davis, my good friend and the first person to give me a job in the radio business.
