The University of Southern Indiana’s Historic Southern Indiana (HSI), in collaboration with Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, will present a two-day Lincoln Colloquium on October 7-8 in Lincoln City, Indiana. The theme of this year’s seminar, the 31st presented by HSI, is “Lincoln in Public Memory."

“We are excited to once again work with Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial to bring the annual Lincoln Colloquium to southern Indiana,” said Leslie Townsend, director of USI Community Engagement. “The first day will feature scholarly lectures dealing with Lincoln in public memory and how we view him today. Day two will give participants the opportunity to visit Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial and see where he spent his formative years.”
