Dumb Ways WKDQ Listeners Have Injured Themselves

Have you ever injured yourself in a really dumb way?

I read a story about a girl who got her head stuck in a Barney costume head (yes the purple dinosaur), and the fire department had to come and get her unstuck.  It made me think about the time I fell through a lawn chair at the beach and a blunt rusty screw ripped right up the side of my leg.  I have a really gnarly scar now, because I was on vacation  and didn't want to go to the Emergency Room to get stitches (even though I probably should have).  When people ask me about my scar, I just tell them it was a shark bite ;)

I'll save you the close up shot that shows how truly nasty this gash was, but I did take a nice selifie with my gash before we covered it with steri strips and band aids!

Krystle E. Updike I have a huge list but probably the dumbest was when my power strip fell into my fish tank I reached into get it to save my fish. I then got shocked but luckily it just shocked me a little bit and nothing worse. It did hurt a lot though, lol.
