Donatos Pizza Announces New Location on Evansville’s East Side

Can you have too many options when it comes to pizza? No. The answer is no.

According to Evansville 411 on Facebook, national pizza chain, Donatos, has announced plans to open a location on Evansville's east side in a new strip mall building planned for Lawndale Shopping Center where Shoney's once stood.

Founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1963 by Jim Grote, the chain specializes in what they call "Edge-to-Edge" thin-crust pizza meaning an abundance of toppings that covers every part of the crust. Their menu also includes calzones, salads, and oven-baked submarine sandwiches.
