Dollar Dances, Tacky or Awesome?

My wedding is coming up in about a week, and one debate we've been having is, to dollar dance, or not. 

Here's the thing, every wedding I've been to where the bride and groom have done the dollar dance and I always thought it was fun, and I would even go and participate in them.  I never thought anything of them.  But now that I'm planning my own wedding, I'm a little worried.  I'm afraid it'll look tacky. I don't know I'm just one of those people who doesn't like asking for things, and I feel like it seems like asking for money.  But it's weird because like I said when I went to weddings where friends had dollar dances, I joined in the fun and had a blast and didn't think twice, but now that the ball is in my court I've started overthinking everything haha!
