Disney On Ice Treats Children From Deaconess Riley To Some Magical Fun
The stars of Disney On Ice are currently in town for their run at Evansville’s Ford Center. On Thursday, a couple familiar faces provided some fun for kids from Deaconess Riley’s Children’s Services.
About 50 kids from the hospital were able to attend a private outing, where one of their doctors, Dr. Reuben Cohen, got to drive Mickey Mouse’s personal car in a race against Cars star, Lightning McQueen!
The stipulation was that if Cohen won, 50 kids would get to attend the Disney On Ice show. Even though it ended in a tie, they still got the tickets and got a private meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie!
What a great thing to do for our community. Thank you, Disney On Ice and Feld Entertainment! Thanks also to our friends at CBS 44 for sharing the story and these awesome pictures. Like their Facebook Page to see more.
The shows continue at the Ford Center through Saturday night! Buy Tickets.
