PHN Solutions has partnered with Gorman Recruiting to fill a position for a Tier 1 Technician in Evansville, IN. This is the initial support level responsible for basic customer issues. The job of a Tier I Technician is to gather the customer’s information and to determine the customer’s issue by analyzing the symptoms and figuring out the underlying problem, or aid in hardware/software setup and configuration.

PHN Solutions is a dedicated team of computer techs, network engineers, web developers and strategists who help companies solve IT business problems and provide solution services.

Qualifications:

Specific responsibilities include:

•Good working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
•PC Hardware Knowledge & Troubleshooting
•Printer Setup
•Router Configurations
•Basic TCP/IP Understanding
•Virus Clean ups
•First responder to issues reported by users
•Identify, diagnose and resolve tier 1 technical hardware and software issues reported by users. Escalate all other issues.
•Able to identify and organize request according to priority
•Delivers, tags, sets up, and assists in the configuration of end-user hardware, software and peripherals.
•Ability to provide user education using non-technical terms
