The primary duty of the Accounting Clerk is to provide accounting support to the management and office staff. This is accomplished by conducting job cost analysis, detailed financial reports, and other more general accounting duties

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting and clerical functions to support management and office Staff.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting problems.
- Compile and sort invoices and checks.
- Input type vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
- Work with adding machines, calculators, databases and bank accounts.
- Process bills for payment.
- Process daily/weekly credit card batch payments
- Utilize computer systems to run databases, pay bills and order supplies.
- Contact individuals with delinquent accounts.
- Prepare detailed financial reports
- Perform cost analysis / job cost breakdown
Qualifications:

- Must be a self-motivator
- Attention to detail
- Must be well versed in quick books
Possess strong skills in statistical analysis - Possess a solid generalist accounting background
- Must have completed some college coursework
