Celebrate Earth Day On Franklin This Saturday!

WKDQ invites you to celebrate Earth Day this Saturday along Franklin Street in Evansville!

The Franklin Street Association is celebrating Earth Day this Saturday with lots of activities for the whole family!

All the fun begins with their Color Me Fun Run 5k. The race begins at 9AM and is open to adults and kids.

After the fun run, there will be the Earth Day Bazaar with food and lots of kid activities. Also on hand will be Environmental information booths and demonstrations.

Bluegrass band Kings Highway will be playing from 10AM-2PM

All the fun will take place on the lawn of the West Branch Library!
