March 27, 2013 Yesterday, Jon and I debated our own personalities and which pet we most resemble, a dog or cat. Jon swore he was a dog. I tried to convince him, with incredible evidence, that he is SO a cat who just looks like a dog. On the other hand, I am a dog who looks like a cat. It can happen! I even found a video of a cat named Cocoa who acts just like a dog.
March 25, 2013 A new season of 'The Voice' starts TONIGHT on NBC. One of last season's favorites was Cody Belew. Although a little eccentric, he won over the hearts of fans with his incredible vocals. If you wondered where he went, he has been song writing with our buddy, Meghan Linsey of the country duo Steel Magnolia.

March 18, 2013 In my previous life, before radio, I worked with kids. It was a time in my life that I found the most rewarding. All of my students brought so much life into my life. Well, some were more reluctant to shine their light than others. LOL But each and every one of them taught me more than I could have ever taught them.
One of my former students, whom I am SO proud of, is working with the Arc Crisis Center. She asked me if I would help them get the word out about a magical and remarkable event for children in crisis.

March 17, 2013 While waiting for stain to dry today, I turned on the TV and found a St Patrick's Day movie on SyFy. Kinda. It was the movie Leprechaun which is about a crazy, flesh eating little leprechaun that is trying to find his gold. What I found intriguing about the movie was not the plot but the leading lady - a young Jennifer Aniston. I wasn't sure at first because her nose looked a lot different. LOL
March 16, 2013 I am a sucker for romance. I LOVE love! My romantic heart cries every time a man and a woman realize they are soul mates in the movies. When love is almost lost forever and then found again to only LIVE forever. A love that cannot be denied is so beautiful. Every women wants to be the woman that a man would fight for, move mountains for and run to the ends of the earth for.
March 16, 2013 On a Saturday morning, there is nothing that my kids like to wake up more to than the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. I have to admit, I usually just bake the can of 'Grands.' Never have I attempted to make them from scratch. But with ingredients like Bailey's, Jameson and Guinness, I'm about to try! ;-)
March 15, 2013 All over the Tri-State, students spend 6 to 10 weeks preparing for ONE weekend. They spend those weeks learning blocking, lines, character development, sometimes music; building sets, gathering props, making costumes, setting light cues, utilizing sound equipment and selling tickets. Through these tasks they are learning skills that are invaluable, skills that many of them will not learn in the class room. Countless hours are put in to meet a deadline. Unlike sports teams that have an entire season to try and perfect their game, students of theatre have one weekend, one chance to give you a winning performance.
