February 6, 2013 It was just about one year ago the Indiana General Assembly refused to give a hearing to a bill, which would allow Sunday alcohol sales leaving Indiana and Connecticut as the only states with such a ban. A few months later, Connecticut lifted their ban thus, leaving Indiana as the only hold out on lifting the ban. That could finally change as the House public policy committee scheduled a hearing on a bill to lift the ban and allow carry-out liquor sales.
February 5, 2013 Nutella has my two favorite things, hazelnut and cocoa. I remember the first time I tried it - one of my students offered it to me. I thought, 'What in the world?' It looked too good and after I tasted it, I realized it tasted too good as well. This stuff could get you into trouble - like 30 or 40 extra pounds trouble. I know without a doubt that I could eat a entire jar and then another jar and then another. But only someone like Furious Pete would be able to eat whole jars and still look like he only eats veggies and white meat chicken.

February 1, 2013 A couple of days ago, a story broke about a photo of a restaurant receipt that did not include a tip, but did have a hand written note that read, 'I give God 10% why do you get 18'. The note was reportedly left by a church Pastor who had a total bill of $34.93. A server who is now being identified as Chelsea Welch, posted the photo of the receipt on Reddit and it went viral.
