February 8, 2013 TONIGHT is a BIG night!! Alan Jackson is coming to town!!!!! He will be at the Ford Center tonight with Gloriana and Greg Bates. A couple of days ago, Gloriana posted a video of a behind-the-scenes look at their rehearsals for the show tonight. It's pretty cool to see how excited they are and how hard they work.
February 5, 2013 On the show this morning, I told you it's 'National Weatherman's Day.' The first thing that came to my mind was my buddy Wayne Hart over at Eyewitness News. I remembered a video I had seen of some promos he made in Louisville while working at WLKY.
You know, we give weathermen a lot of grief, so on this special day, I decided to give Wayne a little more grief - I posted a video of a blooper too!!!

January 26, 2013 Just like Blake Shelton has a bromance with both Adam Levine and Usher, on 'The Voice,' Jon also has a bromance going with a Jake Gylenhaal look alike in South Carolina. He has never talked to him, just admires him from afar. Isn't that just like Jon?? lol
So, I'm sitting there in my chair at work the other day and suddenly I hear Jon singing Taylor Swift's 'Begin Again.' It was so heartfelt and sweet that it gave me an idea!! Not a GOOD idea, but an idea!! ;-)
January 19, 2013 The first time I met Luke Bryan was six years ago when he came to Evansville to perform at Woody's. I had no idea who he was other than the fact the he had a song on the radio, his debut single, 'All My Friends Say,' that I really liked. Little did I know that, the artist I was about to meet would be a MEGA country STAR!
In my interview with Luke on Thursday, I found out that not only do I have some great memories of my first meeting with Luke, but HE has some very fond memories of the Tri-State as well
January 13, 2013 This week will be a hard one! After over 2 years, Half Pint is leaving WKDQ for a grown-up job. We have lived through her engagement, shower, wedding, post wedding drama, family issues, school, 21st b-day and graduation from college. And although we have been hard on her at times both on air and off, we love her dearly and she will be greatly missed. But as with our real children, even our radio daughter must leave the nest. :-(
January 11, 2013 On Wednesday, I went to the Dairy Queen in Mt Vernon to promote the Monster Jam that will be at the Ford Center tonight at 7:00 pm and then again tomorrow at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
We had a GREAT crowd show up to register for tickets, prizes and to see the Monster Truck, 'Stomper' up close. Because what do kids love more than ice cream? It's ice cream and a Monster Truck!!!
