Brett Eldredge has selected "Love Someone" as his next single. Readers can press play above to watch a special performance of the song, which finds Eldredge and his band performing in a sprawling airplane hangar.

A "Love Someone" is a turn from Eldredge's goofy, fun-loving single "Somethin' I'm Good At" and the more introspective "The Long Way," another recent single. The laid-back tune pays homage to the warm and fuzzy feelings of love: “When I wake up in the middle of the night / You holding me so tight / Good Lord, I mean, my oh my / Sure feels good to love someone," Eldredge sings.

"You put the cool in the breeze / You put the weak there in my knees / You put me right where I'm supposed to be / In your blue-eyed sea," the lyrics of "Love Someone" say. In the chorus, they continue, "You laugh at the way I dance / You smile when you hold my hand / I look at you and I understand / It sure feels good to love someone.”

"Love Someone," Eldredge says, is "about the simplicity of love."

“You know, love is actually, when it comes down to it, a very simple thing," he adds. "This is one of those first-listen kind of songs that just makes you smile, makes you feel good, makes you want love if you don’t have it and makes you happy to be in love if you are.”

"Love Someone" is the first track on Eldredge's newest album, his self-titled third studio record. The disc dropped in August of 2017; "Love Someone" will hit country radio officially on June 18.
