All through the month of October there are many events lined up to support breast cancer, and WKDQ is here to make sure we get the word out.  There will be a cornhole tournament this Saturday, October 22nd starting at 10am.

The tournament will be held at Stringtown Baseball fields off St. George.  Teams of 2 will start competing at 11am.  If you're waiting to play or just watching, there will be plenty of activities for you as well, like raffles, prizes, and inflatables for kids.  Between 11 and 2, enjoy a BBQ plate lunch for just $7, and grab some baked goods and cold drinks.  All the proceeds benefit Tammy Tungate to help defray the costs of her medical bills due to breast cancer.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, if you have any events happening to support treatment e-mail us so we can get the word out.
