Blake Shelton and Shakira will be performing together at the 2014 ACM Awards in Las Vegas this weekend.

'The Voice' coaches have been added to the long list of performers for the April 6 award show. The pair will perform their song 'Medicine,' which was just released on Shakira's new album. Although the song isn't typical country, she slated it as a country song and when she asked Shelton to lend his voice for it she made it a whole lot more country.

Shakira made her way to Music City to work on the song, so she could get out of the L.A. mindset for her tune. The Columbian worked with some Nashville people and created just what she wanted -- something country.

The 49th Annual ACM Awards are not one to miss, this year especially! With funny men Luke Bryan and Shelton hosting again this year, it's sure to be one to remember. Additional performers include the Band PerryHunter HayesJason AldeanEric ChurchBrett Eldredge, Toby KeithJustin Moore, Kip MooreKeith Urban and Lady Antebellum with music legend Stevie Nicks.  Miranda Lambert and country legend George Strait will join each other on stage to sing a duet of Merle Haggard songs.
