For some USI students, Spring Break means beaches, parties, and alcohol, at the same time. I'm not going to be doing any of those things. Instead, I'm trading my swim trunks for a tool belt to help storm victims in Harrisburg, IL and Henryville, IN. I need your help though.

All of this happened soo fast, I knew I wanted to get my hands dirty and help, but I didn't know where to start. So, I called Greg Waite , Chief Event Coordinator at the Evansville Red Cross and they're backing me one hundred percent. I sent the call out to USI students without Spring Break Plans and got a few willing to help.

Armed with chainsaws and work gloves, we are planning on heading to Henryville, IN Tomorrow morning (3/6)  5am  from 99.5 WKDQ Station Parking Lot.

So far, Our only game plan is to just drive out there and put our hands to use in whatever way we can. I'm not  limiting this to just College students. If you have the time, resources, and/or experience join us on our mission. I've set up a facebook group titled "Alternative Spring Break: The Restore Project". If you want to join us in the field or make a financial donation to help with gas, food, and lodging let me know through;  brian@wkdq.com.  I want to thank you in advance for you support.
