Caves are fascinating and ominous places. Whether formed by water or mining, they are so beautiful. Seriously, I love caves so much, if I could find one to live in, I would move in tomorrow.

When I came across this abandoned mine in Kentucky, I was mesmerized. It is so incredible with its enormous caves and tunnels.

According to the description of the video from Pluto's Forest,

Mullins, Kentucky, which is located within Daniel Boone National Forest (a little east of Mount Vernon). Rockcastle County. Cave gets some traffic. Many people are driving from Ohio to see it and other caves in the region. The cave isn't difficult if you are prepared. We did not need to be in any kind of club or possess any kind of permit to enter this cave. That is the way most caves used to be in Daniel Boone National Forest.

The Kentucky Stone Company operated a large above-ground and below-ground limestone quarry in Mullins, Kentucky. Now, the mine is abandoned.

Take a look at what is left of the mine. The caves and tunnels are breathtaking, haunting, and so cool.

I can't believe that people would put graffiti on the walls. Always keep places like this clean and preserved.
