Monday's (May 20) devastating tornado in Moore, Okla. touched the hearts of country music's biggest stars, and more than a few were left worrying about friends and family they knew in the area. The state is home to some of the biggest names in country music -- Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Vince Gill and Blake Shelton are just a few who have roots there, with one superstar having grown up in Moore.
It was the wildest show behind bars, and George Strait was in the thick of it for one year in the early '80s. He wasn't the only one. Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Tom T. Hall … they all did time behind the walls of the Huntsville Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's anniversary is May 14, but knowing what we know now, another date is just as important. In 2005 fans saw a dopey grin on Shelton's face that was much more than one singer admiring another in song. As Lambert sang her portion of 'You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma' during the CMT '100 Greatest Duets' concert, the 'Honey Bee' star fell hard.

The 2013 CMT Music Awards nominees have been announced, and two of country music's hottest men -- Luke Bryan and Eric Church -- lead the way with four nominations each. Miranda Lambert also tallied four nods, three as a solo artist and one as part of all-female trio Pistol Annies.

Hot country star Hunter Hayes is making a habit out of performing with legends. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist joined in an all-star jam with Blake Shelton and Stevie Wonder to close out the recent ACM awards, and now he'll join Wonder again on Monday night (April 22) for a duet on 'Dancing With the Stars.'
