Toys Or Candy — Which will Trick-or-Treaters Choose ?

This is something we started doing many years ago at Halloween. When the little goblins visit our house they will have a choice. They can choose candy from one side of the tray or a toy from the other side. So which do most choose?

20 years ago the toys were the favorite but over the past few years the little ones have developed sweet teeth and candy is almost  the exclusive choice.

Maybe McDonald's, Wendy's and other fast food places have overloaded the little ones with toys. But this year at the Love house they will still have a choice.

I have noticed that it sometimes takes the smallest kids quite a while to decide between candy and toy and then which candy or toy. The cold weather may cut down on attendance so they may get both. We need to get rid of this stuff.
