The Westside Nut Club Fall Festival is as much about the weird food concoctions as it is anything else. So many new and different gastronomical delights have been introduced over the years. Personally, I had an idea for a chocolate-dipped brain sandwich...who's with me? The Jelly Bean candy company has come up with two new head-scratching ideas.

A couple of weeks ago, I told you about Sophie, a 5-month-old German Shepherd that was unable to walk due to a spinal injury. Sophie wound up being dropped off at an animal shelter and was slated to be killed when Westside, a Los Angeles organization stepped in and gave Sophie all of the medical attention she needed and began to take her first steps.

A couple buildings that have been sitting empty for months and even years are coming down on Evansville's Westside.  In case you haven't been on the Lloyd near Rosenberger lately, things look a little bit different.
