I drive an hour to and from work every day. There are times when I hate it and don't know if I can do it another day. But, there are those rare moments when I experience the beauty and awe of Mother Nature, that it doesn't seem that bad. :-)

Living in the Midwest, we are prepared for anything. We can be at 70 degrees and sunny when we wake up, then by 7 pm we are at 33 degrees and preparing for 6 inches of snow. It's crazy, but we are used to the insanity. Even though we are used to it, we still go crazy and head to Walmart for bread and milk.

I just got a call from a guy who told me about a  19 year old that can play multiple instruments, is a songwriter, and is a great singer.
