The Hadi Shriners hold a press conference Wednesday morning to announce the featured acts for the air show that will be a part of the 2016 Shrinersfest taking place along the Evansville riverfront June 22-26.

With the test runs for the Shrinersfest airshows going on this week in downtown Evansville, it gets very loud at my desk in the middle of the office with no windows.  It got me thinking, that if I didn't know there was an airshow happening, I would be completely freaked out.  You've got to think there's some poor soul out there that was clueless as to what was happening.

This morning, as I was driving to work, I noticed some activity down by the Hadi Shrine Temple. Then it hit me, Shrinersfest is this week! Starting this Wednesday, June 22 and running through Sunday, June 28th, there's plenty to do. And be sure to use #shrinersfest on all your social media!

It's official. This year's ShrinersFest will feature an appearance from the world-famous Blue Angels, as well as one other national jet team.

The crowd grew steadily all weekend long on the Evansville riverfront for Shrinersfest.  Despite the absence of the Blue Angels, the airshow was great entertainment for festival-goers, including an appearance from the amazing B-2 Stealth Bomber...

You could hear the sounds of the airshow just after 11:00am in downtown Evansville this morning, signaling the start of Shrinersfest.  Events will be underway all weekend long on Riverside Drive.
