It was another great month of pretending I was more manly than I actually am, letting the facial hair grow into something resembling a beard.  I did have many complements this year, as opposed to the 'What's wrong with your face?" that I got in the past, so that's a step up.

Well, I've officially made it to the halfway point of No Shave November.  This year I am participating in No Shave November to create awareness for Men's prostate health in association with Deaconess Hospital!  Two weeks in without shaving has been rough, but there are certain things I've learned.

No Shave November has returned, and my wife for one is thrilled!  OK, maybe she's not real happy about the stubble I will be turning into a half-hearted beard, but at least I can tell her it is for a good cause.  This year I am participating in No Shave November to create awareness for Men's  prostate health in association with Deaconess Hospital!  You can do the same.

My quest to raise money for St. Jude through No Shave November was a success.  Thanks to all who contributed, we raised over $450 for St. Jude!  So this morning, I looked at my so-so beard and reluctantly decided to shave it.

Here it is...as shaggy as I will get.  My No Shave November for St. Jude was pretty successful, but I'm still about a hundred bucks short of my goal.
