CMA Music Fest coverage continues, with one of my favorite pairs, the LoCash Cowboys stepping into the box for three questions!  Get ready for fake legs and Jana Kramer and sagging things!

The Big O Music Fest, the area's biggest country music festival each year, is getting rowdier than ever this year, with their headliner, Hank Williams Jr.

Last week I covered the most socially active country artists' fan bases according to my experience.  I found through this that some of my choices only apply on certain occasions.  Some of my choices were spot on.  Finally, I missed some very active fan bases, that I know about now!

Over the last few years, doing the Country Whuppin' and other posts on this website, I've noticed some artists, more than others have rabid fan bases on social media that are constantly pushing for the furthering of their careers.  It may not always be the biggest artists, but in the eyes of these fans, they're the only artist that matters.

LoCash Cowboys fans have been flooding us with requests for the guys' new single, 'Best Seat In The House,' a touching tribute to Chris Lucas's father, who passed away a couple of years ago.  The single has been a big success for LoCash, and it's just about time for the video to come out, but before it does, here is a special sneak peak.

While hometown boy, Tim Ash had a very respectable showing, it was too much to overcome Gary Allan in the Country Whuppin'.  Gary continues his winning ways into a battle with LoCash Cowboys, with a song they debuted yesterday to rave reviews.

It was great to have Preston and Chris of the LoCash Cowboys on the phone to talk about and debut their new single, 'Best Seat In The House.'  Not only did they share the emotional way the song was written, but our listeners shared in the emotion after they heard the song.

The LoCash Cowboys were involved in a bus accident while riding to a show in Mairnette, Wisc. on Friday afternoon (June 14). The duo and their crew were traveling from a performance at the Taste of Country Music Festival when a front tire blew out.

After another big victory over Kacey Musgraves, Scotty McCreery continues on the winning path as the Country Whuppin' champ!  Today he's taking on the group known as JB and the Moonshine Band.

For the second match in a row, this one went down to the wire.  The LoCash Army and McCreerians were on point, but it was Scotty that got the upper hand by only 20 votes out of the over 1300 cast.  That means Scotty McCreery takes over as the champ and goes on to face ACM Female Vocalist nominee, Kacey Musgraves!

In one of the closest battles ever on the Country Whuppin', with only an 11 vote margin, the LoCash Cowboys picked up their second win over worthy competitor, Rachel Holder.  They are now moving on to face the first single from the second album of Scotty McCreery!

New champions defend their crown today in the Country Whuppin'!  The LoCash Cowboys are the defending champs with their new single, 'Chase A Little Love,' and they find themselves in a knock down drag out brawl with the challenger, Rachel Holder and her new single 'Five Days.'
