I have been a huge fan of karaoke for a long time and I don't get to do it as often as I'd like or as often as I used to. I came upon some older tunes today that I realized I've never sang, and I have made it my goal to do so. I also realized they're some of the saddest songs ever.
So, last weekend I told you about the wonderful time I had in Memphis for St. Jude Country Cares. While by day, this event is filled with visits to the hospital, and seminars for learning how to efficiently run our Radiothon, night time can be quite the mixed bag, especially when radio DJ's and country artists hit the legendary Beale St.

Well, the drama continues AND we now know the the artist of the song that made a father so angry, he was willing to shoot his own son to keep him from singing!!
