This past weekend, myself and Baby Boy Brian visited Memphis for the annual St. Jude Country Cares Seminar.  Take a look at some of the pictures from our tours.

Darren Warren is a new artist in country music in some people's eyes, but in mine, he's a friend I've know for a long time.  We share a lot of interests.   We've shared a stage singing some karaoke together.  We've shared a couple nights by a bonfire with cold beverages in hand.  Heck, we even share a birthday

WKDQ first introduced you to Darren Warren in February at the St. Jude Radiothon.  As a St. Jude patient, himself, Darren survived cancer from the age of 16 and is taking steps toward being a country music star, while continuing to help the hospital that saved his life, along the way.

If you listened to this year's St. Jude Country Cares Radiothon, we welcomed rising star, Darren Warren into the studio to tell his story.  Darren's road to stardom was paved with more than playing honky tonks.  He was a patient at St. Jude when he was just 16 years old.
