The Songs For St. Jude Concert Series gets kicked off for the season Thursday night at Hawg N Sauce BBQ in Mt. Vernon with Ray Scott!  Ray will follow in the footsteps of artists like Craig Campbell, Heidi Newfield, Dylan Scott, and Maggie Rose that have all been there for these shows.  Take a look at some of the highlights of the past!

WKDQ would like to thank Hawg N Sauce BBQ and Grill and Craig Campbell for a great night of music to open this summer's Songs For St. Jude Free Concert Series.  The numbers are still being counted, but the total is well over $1000 for St. Jude!

The closing of Craig Campbell's record label Bigger Picture Group was shocking news, and the singer has opened up about how he's coping, and what's keeping his spirits up.

This year we are bringing great live music to Hawg N Sauce BBQ in Mt. Vernon.  The shows are free to get in, but we'll be accepting donations for St. Jude and 10% of all food and beverage sales go to the charity as well.  Our first show in the series will be Craig Campbell, Thursday night, May 29th at 7:30pm!

After a nice run as champion of the Country Whuppin', Keith Urban finally fell to Chris Young.  Now, the new champ begins his reign by taking on all comers, starting with Craig Campbell.  Campbell spent the entire year of 2013 on one single moving up the charts, and he's hoping his new tune gets to the top and gets there quicker.

Rising country star Craig Campbell has a new album coming out in May, and its first single, 'Outta My Head,' is already sitting inside the Top 40 on the Billboard charts. At the recent Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, Campbell told Taste of Country that he almost didn't get to cut the song.

Our hometown boy, Jason Sturgeon from Pike County will be performing in Nashville at the Hard Rock Cafe tonight along with his friends, Craig Campbell and former lead singer of Little Texas, Tim Rushlow.  In case you can't make it to Nashville, you can watch the show live online.

Legendary Entertainment is bringing another big concert to Owensboro on October 28th with Octoberfest!  The concert will be at the Owensboro Sportscenter and it will feature 5 big acts including headliner, Craig Morgan!

Craig Campbell's latest hit, Fish, is a great song! I love the inuendo and humor in the lyrics. And, it has that country party feel that just makes you eant to sit back and have a cold one.
