We want to say a big congratulations to the winner of our cake decorating contest.  We asked for your submissions for birthday cakes for Evansville, and you came through.  After all the submissions, Buddy Valastro has picked the winner.

Last week, I asked for folks in the Tri-State to send in their own cake creations to celebrate The Cake Boss coming to town on August 5th.  Boy, I did not expect the response I got.  So many creative people are right here in the WKDQ listening area.

With The Cake Boss coming to The Victory Theater on August 5th, I thought about how many cool cakes my wife has made.  A speech therapist by occupation, she really longs to be a baker.  I wanted to show off her cake, and I would love to see yours too.
