There are many -- too many -- country stars who have had cancer or have been personally affected by it in some way.

It's time for another installment from my series of blogs featuring songs of the past from well-known artists.  The artists may be well-known, but the some of the songs may have long disappeared.  In this case, we don't really hear much from either, as we look at the Forgotten Five of Blackhawk!

I was in my hometown last week and listening to a radio station that plays what they call country 'Legends.'  I was shocked to hear the band Blackhawk on that station.  Don't get me wrong, I love Blackhawk, but for a band with no number ones, I didn't realize they had reached legendary status.  Either way, it got me wanting to hear more Blackhawk.
