This is spinoff movie no laughing matter.

And it’s a name that Tim Burton fans will definitely recognize.

The announcement that Danny Elfman will replace Junkie XL as the composer of Justice League is one of the first concrete signs of the shift in direction following the departure of Zack Snyder and his replacement by Joss Whedon. Frankly, we were excited by the news. Elfman’s a great composer, with plenty of experience writing music for superhero movies; he composed the music for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, Ang Lee’s Hulk, and Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army.

When Warner Bros. announced their upcoming superhero schedule last year, one title notably missing was a solo Batman movie. It turns out, yes, yes he will. Latino Review is reporting that Ben Affleck will both star in and direct the spinoff, titled The Batman, which is set for November 2018.

With Warner Bros. doubling down on 'Batman vs. Superman' and 'Justice League' in the next few years, it makes perfect sense that Six Flags parks would take advantage of the situation and start building new rides named after these iconic characters. And that brings us to Batman: The Ride, which will be opening in San Antonio's Six Flags: Fiesta Texas next year. In short: it looks insane.
