911 gives hope for the holidays

Once again, United Fidelity Bank is giving you the chance to help fill a 53-foot trailer full of toys for just a dollar!

Our annual 911 Gives Hope for the Holiday's Toy Drive is coming up December 2nd through the 4th at the east side Walmart in Evansville, and our friends at United Fidelity Bank are looking for you to help us fill the 53-foot trailer full of toys for kids spending Christmas in area hospitals by purchasing a paper Santa hat for $1.00 each.

Coming up on Saturday July 9th, hop on your bike for a great cause!

We just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who donated, volunteered, or just stopped by our 7th annual 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays. We were able to fill the Semi-truck with Toys for area kids! THANK YOU TRI-STATE!

After a record-setting weekend at the 911 Gives Hope For The Holidays toy drive, we get to add even more to the load of goodies you helped us collect with The Evansville Icemen and their annual 'Teddy Bear Toss.'

We're here at the Eastside Walmart in Evansville for the 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive! Come out and donate toys or money to help area children have a nice Christmas and ease the discomfort of being in the hospital through the year.

We wanted to extend a thank you to Pet Smart, for donating brand new toys to 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays! We just picked up pallets and pallets of adorable, lovable, stuffed furry friends that will be given to pediatric patients at five local facilities this year!

Every year, Santa visits 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays. Okay, we aren't talking the fakey Santa that stuffs his belly with a pillow. No, we are talking the real, Old Saint Nicholas; Father Christmas; Papai Noel.

Every first weekend in December for the last 4 years, I've spent shivering, soaking wet, and mainly smiling, as we fill a tractor trailer full of toys for 911 Give Hope For The Holidays.  I love participating in this 60-hour marathon of collecting supplies for local hospitals, but never knew just how closely it would affect me until this week.

Thursday was the day to deliver all the toys and supplies we collected during our 911 Gives Hope For The Holidays Toy Drive.  We want to thank the Tri-State once again for your generosity and the local hospitals were thrilled with these donations.

Every holiday season, for three days, police officers, firefighters, and medics camp out at the Evansville Wal-Mart East parking lot to collect toys.  Indispensable support is provided by Townsquare Media,  Henderson Chevrolet, and Wal-mart.

With the 4th Annual 911 Gives Hope For The Holidays Toy Drive happening this weekend and also Chris Young's Liquid Neon Tour happening Saturday night at The Centre, we've come up with some cool ways for you to participate in both.
