If you're looking for a great weekend getaway, this 1940s gas station is the perfect unique stay near Nashville, Tennessee. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Nashville, in Gallatin, this restored vintage gas station is the perfect spot to crash for you and up to 3 other people.

The outside of the gas station features graphics of vintage cars applied to the windows using what I assume to be perforated window covering like what is commonly used with vinyl vehicle wraps since the listing says you can see out clearly from the inside. The 1940s Gas Station rents on AirBnB for $160 per night and inside, you'll find two Murphy beds to sleep up to 4, along with 8 TVs, a well appointed kitchen, dining nook, spacious bathroom and washer and dryer. There may even be a little paranormal activity too...

In December of 1966 The Station caught fire. Two men were working on a tractor & smoking. The fumes from the tractor ignited causing a deadly occurrence. To this day the fire is claimed to never happen. However you can go to the court house archives and find the article in the paper on the front page. On occasion you hear screams and crackling. Is it haunted............. NO!

The property owner, Craig, is an AirBnB SuperHost and with a 4.98 stars and 66 reviews, you know your stay is going to be excellent. For an additional fee, Craig will even stock the kitchen with groceries and alcohol. Check out photos of the space below.
