Keith Urban delivered an energetic performance of his new single "Never Comin' Down" at the 2018 CMA Awards.

Dressed in all black and rocking atop one of the coolest sets of the night, Urban played guitar and belted the tune while standing on a massive video screen that covered the front of the whole stage.

His band played behind the screens, occasionally visible through the graphics. Fast moving lights cascaded across the set during the stomping singalong of a song.

"Never Comin' Down" brings a really cool style to Urban's always-expanding sonic repertoire. It's the fourth single he's released from his current album Graffiti U after "Coming Home (feat. Julia Michales)", "Parallel Line" and "Female" (which he debuted live at last year's CMA Awards). The album earned an Album of the Year nomination, while Urban also captured nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, the latter of which he ended up taking home.

And it's pretty easy to see why he got all the love he did with that performance.

He'll probably have to "come down" from atop the massive set at some point, but we can see why he wouldn't want to. At the end of the performance, bright lights shone across a visibly impressed audience, including his wife Nicole Kidman and music icon Lionel Richie.
