Introducing: Movies at the Museum ✨🎬

If you’re looking for a fun new way to spend a weekend night in Evansville, this one’s for you. The Evansville Museum is rolling out a brand-new monthly event series called Movies at the Museum,  and it’s exactly as cool as it sounds.

One weekend each month, the Museum will transform its Koch Immersive Theater and Planetarium into a full-on movie night experience. We’re talking a massive 19-foot theater screen, comfortable seating, and that special feeling you get when a movie feels bigger than your living room TV. It’s the perfect mix of cinema and culture — without having to fight for a good seat at a packed theater.

The series kicks off with a true classic: Mary Poppins. The screening is being held in celebration of Dick Van Dyke’s 100th birthday, making it the perfect excuse to revisit a film that generations have loved. Whether you grew up singing along or you’re introducing it to your kids for the first time, this is one of those movies that never loses its magic.
