Be Happy: West Side Bakery Looks to Add Second Evansville Location
Our friend Jenny Lamble's vision for The Be Happy Pie Company was born from the desire to do something that made her happy. That happiness is spreading, and that is good news for Evansville.
Something Smells Delicious
The Be Happy Pie Company has become a favorite of West Siders, and that is not going to change. Jenny has plans to expand her team and open a second location on Evansville's East Side. This is super exciting for me because I'm one of those Eastsiders.
Of course, until we have our East Side Be Happy Pie Company, it is worth the drive no matter where you live to enjoy those chocolate crinkle cookies. Those are my favorites, but you really can't go wrong with anything that Jenny and her 'Pie Minions' are baking up!
I chatted with Jenny about this exciting news;
"My team and I have worked hard for almost 6 years, and we have always tried to listen to our customers. We get a lot of requests to have an East Side location. So, we began the research. I also have an amazing team that I want to give opportunities to. And with this new location, we plan to bring a drink menu including coffee and tea. We plan to have seating space inside and more outside on a new patio.
It’s been a long search for the right place, but we felt like this location had lots to offer. We would not be in this position without the continued support of the local community. We thought that more people needed to try our pies and of course the oatmeal cream pies as well."
