Bubba’s Pancakes & Bacon Whiskey Is the Boozy Breakfast Mashup You Didn’t Know You Needed

On Saturday morning, I was at Barrel Heads Liquor Market and Tasting Bar in Owensboro, KY. They were celebrating their one-year anniversary and I was there broadcasting live and inviting everyone to come join in the afternoon festivities. While I was there, some friends came in and asked about a whiskey I had never of. All I heard was 'pancakes' and 'bacon' and my ears perked up like a bloodhound's.

The whiskey was apparently a big hit at the recent bourbon tasting at BBQ & Barrels, the annual two-day festival in Owensboro that takes place the second weekend of May.

I got to try the whiskey for the first time at Barrel Heads and it was everything you can imagine. It literally smells like pancake syrup and tastes like liquid breakfast. I joked that I wanted to pour it over a stack of pancakes. My friend Travis Estes, who works in the spirits industry, says, "It's like brunch in a bottle." He's not kidding.

WHAT FLAVORS OF WHISKEY DOES BUBBA'S MAKE?

As good as Pancakes & Bacon Whiskey sounds and is, get this! According to Travis, the original Bubba's flavor is Burnt Sugar and they're now also bottling up a whiskey that tastes like S'mores. It's Marshmallow Chocolate Whiskey.
