Yeah, me either, but apparently, some women visiting from New York decided to give it a try in Chicago.

They actually got away with it, too, but decided to flex when they probably shouldn't have.

A Birthday Dinner Gone Bold

So here's the deal: Three ruthless ladies visiting from Rochester, New York, must've been in Chicago for a "Let's Eat And Drink For Free Trip" because they were spotted on camera walking out on the bill at Soul Vibez restaurant, located in Chicago's near North Side area.

Caught on Camera, Then Online

The cameras spotted each scofflaw walking out of the restaurant one at a time every 30 seconds, moments after they raked up a $200 tab that covered chicken wings, Alfredo, and a drink flight.

The crew of criminals must have thought they were in the clear because they went on social media, bragged about their dine-and-ditch skills, and tagged the restaurant.

Oops: Names and Numbers Included

They forgot one thing: The troublesome trio had already given away their identities by signing in at the restaurant waitlist with their own names and numbers.

Chicago Police Step In

Chicago police are investigating the crime, and if convicted, all three women could face one year in jail and a $2500 fine.

In the end, it wasn't the cameras, the witnesses, or the receipts that gave them away; it was their egos, served up with a side order of bad decisions.
