Haunted Annabelle Doll Coming to Illinois This October

That infamous doll from The Conjuring universe will be just outside of Rockford in October, and for horror fans in Northern Illinois, this is a trip you won't want to miss out on. That's because, instead of having to drive into Chicago, you'll be heading west, toward the Quad Cities, and specifically to Rock Island.

It's roughly two and a half hours away, just far enough to feel like a creepy road trip, but close enough that super fans of the long-running horror franchise won't think twice about driving that far to see a doll. If you've ever wanted to meet the haunted Annabelle doll from the films, this is one of the few times you can without needing a plane ticket.

The Haunted History of Annabelle

Annabelle isn't just a movie prop either. She's the OG Raggedy Ann doll that Ed and Lorraine Warren claim was possessed. The legend surrounding Annabelle inspired The Conjuring flicks and creeps out even the most skeptical horror movie buffs. Seeing the doll in person at an Illinois event would be a bucket-list moment for fans of the paranormal.

A Tragic Twist Before the Tour

This comes on the heels of the sudden death of her "handler", Dan Rivera, who passed away while on tour with Annabelle. Obviously, the group decided the show would go on, which honestly only adds to the layer of creepiness surrounding the show.
