Illinois Baseball Stadium To Host Annual Halloween Carnival
If you're looking for family fun without the scary, there's a minor league baseball stadium in Illinois that is hosting a Halloween carnival made for everyone.
Illinois Halloween Carnival Is Fun For The Whole Family
The fall is my favorite season and one of the big reasons is Halloween. It's one of my favorite holidays too. There are so many fun things to do during this time of year. It seems like it keeps getting bigger and better every year.
I remember when I was growing up, Halloween was celebrated on just one day, October 31st. There was a party at school, followed by trick or treating on the way home, and maybe a haunted house that night. Now, it's the whole month. That's great for the kids because they can wear their costumes several times instead of once.
There are some people out there, especially children that enjoy Halloween but don't like the scary parts. That's another great thing about the holiday now. You can find plenty of events and activities that are fun for the whole family.
One of those events is the annual Halloween Carnival in Schaumburg. It's held at Wintrust Field which is the home of the Schaumberg Boomers minor league baseball team. It's going on over a couple of different weekends including 10/18-20 and 10/25-27. There are day and night hours available. Admission is free and parking is $5.
The event will feature rides, games, food, beverages, trick or treating, crafts, face painting, a costume contest, House of Creeps Haunted House, and even something for the adults the VIP (Very Insane Personal) bar and lounge.
