It almost sounded too good to be true which means it was. That's a really nice area in Illinois so the families owned a lot of expensive things. The suspect would steal items from the homes where she babysat. She would then sell them on the internet.

A couple of the families started noticing items coming up missing. The parents actually thought they saw the stolen merchandise for sale on Facebook Marketplace. They called the police to investigate.
