For this unusual story, we head to Tampa, Florida, where police were acting on a tip that came in via the internet, in which the tipster was claiming that a man named Justin DiBiase was illegally filming women in his home without their permission.

Police Officer Arrested For Video Voyeurism After Illegally Recording Women in His Home

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Justin DiBiase, a deputy in the DUI Unit, is in some serious hot water.

Detectives did their detective things and got to the bottom of some intel of exactly what was happening at the home of DiBiase. Apparently, the deputy had a camera placed in the bathroom that was recording anyone that used his guest restroom.

Police determined there was a camera pointed toward the toilet and the shower of the bathroom. There were two victims in the case that had explicit video captured of them in DiBiase's house.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister released a pretty scathing statement about DiBiase.

“I am disgusted and deeply disappointed by the actions of this individual. This is not only a violation of trust towards the victims but also a profound betrayal of the badge,” said Chronister.

"Deputies are sworn to protect and serve our community, but behind closed doors, he was a criminal himself," he said. "We hold our deputies to the highest standards, and when one falls so far from those standards, it is our duty to ensure they face the full weight of their consequences."

DiBiase is now charged with video voyeurism.

At 26, DiBiase was a younger deputy, and this will likely interfere with him continuing any sort of career in law enforcement.
