Friday (Aug. 2) is International Beer Day on Friday, and there is not an international beer available here in the States that is quite as loved as a Corona. The yummy Mexican beer is a great option any day of the year, but International Beer Day is the perfect excuse to enjoy a bottle or two.

But wait — how about some tacos? This recipe is one even kids can enjoy.

Borrowed from our friends at Delish.com, this Corona Chicken Tacos recipe is the perfect way to partake in International Beer Day. All you need is a half a bottle of Corona, one rotisserie chicken and a whole bunch of cheese and veggies to make this delectable creation.

And yes, you can finish the other half of the beer while you are cooking.

Corona Chicken Tacos Recipe:

Ingredients:

1/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 bottle Corona
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 white onion, sliced
1 tsp. cumin
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
2 limes
Medium-sized flour or corn tortillas
Fresh salsa, for topping
Shredded Mexican cheese, for topping

Directions

In a sauté pan over medium heat, bring broth and Corona to a simmer. Add peppers and onions, stirring every so often and cooking until softened, 2 to 3 minutes. Season with cumin, salt and pepper.

Stir in chicken. Squeeze juice from both limes on top and cook 2 to 3 minutes more, stirring the mixture to coat the chicken thoroughly. Add filling to each tortilla, topping with salsa and cheese.
